To meet your Member Club requirements before each Basketball ACT Annual General Meeting clubs are required to fill in an online form.
The Club Affiliation Form assists Basketball ACT to ensure strong governance practices and requirements of the Associations Constitution are being upheld.
As a recognised entity within Basketball ACT your Club is requested to complete a Basketball ACT Club Affiliation Form.
Under the Basketball ACT Constitution an Associate Member is required to meet Rule 6.4, whilst a Full Member is required to rules 6.3 and 6.8. By completing the Club Affiliation Form you will be in line with your obligations to the Basketball ACT Constitution (2023). The affiliation information includes:
* Incorporated associations are no longer required to lodge an annual return with Access Canberra.
BACT will assist clubs signing up to Game Plan. Game Plan is a free online platform that allows sporting clubs of all sizes to get insights into their current capability in key areas of club administration, then supports ongoing club development with a suite of tools.
Game PlanSport Integrity and Play by the Rules have online suites of education specifically tailored to the sporting landscape. These education pieces can be used in clubs for current, past and future members of the excecutive, as well as participants and coaches within the club.
