Basketball ACT partners with Aussie Basketball Travellers
Basketball ACT can announce a new partnership with Aussie Basketball Travellers, a new collaboration which will open new development pathways for coaches and players around the basketball world.
Since its founding in 1999, Aussie Basketball Travellers has earned a strong reputation for organising tours worldwide, catering to coaches, players, and basketball fans.
Through this partnership, players in the ACT basketball community will have the chance to explore college pathways and global experiences year-round, with a range of exceptional tours on offer.
Basketball ACT CEO Nicole Bowles is excited by the potential of this partnership, coming at a time when an increasing number of young players are considering basketball as a profession, headlined by local product Alex Toohey confirming his nomination for the NBA Draft in June.
“Basketball ACT is delighted to welcome Aussie Basketball Travellers as an official partner, and we look forward to working together to strengthen our development pathways and opportunities for our growing basketball community,” Bowles said.
“As more and more Australians, and more and more players and coaches from Canberra and the broader region, particularly, recognise how much closer and realistic basketball opportunities in the US College system and other countries have become, collaborations such as this with ABT can only help these ambitions.
“We look forward the positive impact it can have on basketball in the ACT and beyond.”
