Basketball ACT School Holiday Camps provide players aged 5-12 years old, who have little to no on-court experience an opportunity to build their fundamental skills and develop basic game awareness.
Basketball ACT School Holiday Camps are an ideal preparation for new players to gain on-court confidence in the lead up to joining a club for Junior Competitions.
Basketball ACT School Holiday Camps focus on the fundamental skills for basketball – including ball handling, shooting and defence – taught via drills & game-based activities. The final day of each camp is dedicated to putting skills to the test in gameplay situations, to help prepare for competition, and enhance understanding.
With coaches drawn from our experienced Learn-To-Play programs, as well as our U20’s ACT representative players, participants will learn correct techniques in a fun and inclusive way.
Through games and challenges, participants will get the opportunity to win Basketball ACT prizes – including bags and water bottles – throughout the camp.
